Norfolk Island is a small subtropical island approximately 1,600 km north-east of Sydney and 1,100 km north-west of Auckland. The 8 km by 5 km of verdant landscape bordered by pristine coastline make up our beautiful home in the South Pacific. It only takes a short flight from Sydney or Brisbane Australia to feel totally off-grid.
Flying from Australia
The flight to paradise from Brisbane is 2 hours and from Sydney is 2.5 hours.
Qantas operate direct flights to Norfolk Island from the International terminal currently 3 times weekly from Sydney and 3 times weekly from Brisbane.
Travelling from Australia is considered domestic travel; however, flights operate from the international terminals of Brisbane and Sydney airports. Keep this in mind if you are making a flight connection from another Australian city.
Australian residents travelling from Australia do not need a visa or passport (although a passport is the preferred form of ID) but photographic identification is required for all passengers. e.g an Australian Driver's license.
